PERSONAL SERVICE BY THE OWNERS
Have special needs? We believe everyone should enjoy the movies. That's why we do things like stock special equipment for the visual and hearing impaired, or offer low volume opportunities for those sensitive to sound.
CLOSED CAPTIONING DEVICE (CC)
Moviegoers who are hearing impaired can see captions with their personal closed captioning device. The devices offer personal monitors with digital text displays that easily attach to cup holder armrests and allow the user to adjust the monitor to their preferred position. The devices are wireless and easy to use.
ASSISTED LISTENING DEVICE (ALD)
Guests who have some hearing loss can amplify the movie soundtrack through their personal ALD. The devices are wireless headsets that receive a signal that allows the user to customize the volume to their liking.
AUDIO DESCRIPTION DEVICE (AD)
Those who are visually impaired can receive additional audio narration with their personal audio description headset. The headsets provide the user with additional description of the visual setting and action taking place on the screen. The devices are wireless and easy to use.
We are a small family and locally owned business. Zach was raised in Ashe County. By day he teaches at the local community college and is the music director at the Jefferson United Methodist Church. By night Zach and his wife, Kristell, both run the movie theater. Kristell is originally from Venezuela but lived in Northern Virginia as an IT Consultant before moving to Ashe county with her husband. Our daughter February just recently turned one! You will see her hanging out in her pack and play during the evening shows or sitting on movie loungers laps.
